Final stage of INSPIRE started

The partners of INSPIRE (Innovative Science Pedagogy in Research and Education) met on 30-31 March 2009 in Vienna, Austria, to discuss the final stage of the project. The testing of the Learning Objects provided on the INSPIRE website (http://inspire.eun.org) is well under way in the pilot schools around Europe, and the final results will be collected during the next months.

To analyze and discuss the results, INSPIRE will organise an international Summer School in Salzburg, Austria, in August. Participants of the Summer School will be invited to share their experience and ideas on the use of Learning Objects through an online forum, which will be open to everyone interested in MST education and the Learning Objects.

Together with the participants, the INSPIRE team will produce a Handbook which will include general information on the Learning Objects, pedagogical methods and technical guidelines how to use them, and also more practical examples and experiences of integration of Learning Objects to classroom given by teachers and students involved in INSPIRE.
