Software from pupils for pupils

The German "Klaus Tschira Stiftung" has setup a competition for pupils to write documentation or simulation software on science topics.

Learning by doing is the main concept in constructive learning. In science this could mean running experiments in a laboratory or documenting mathematical concepts behind phenomena in biology, chemistry or physics. Computers are ideal tools for such a pupils activity. This is the basic idea behind the competition of the German "Klaus Tschira Stiftung": Let pupils create digital documents or software to demonstrate or document scientific concepts. The best contributions are awarded and are now available for download from the website.
