Science upd8: download science activities

The UK's Science UPD8 website proposes a new approach, which tries to translate the latest science news into inspiring activities which teachers and students can easily download and try! You just need to register first. Then you will also be alerted when new initiatives are online.

The activities cover many scientific fields: from biological control of mosquitoes in India to  kinetic and potential energy in space. The initiative is aimed at students up to 14 years old. The activity packs include online videos, worksheets, teachers' notes and more.

The project is sponsored by Planet Science and IBM, and managed by the Centre for Science Education, Sheffield Hallam University and the Association for Science Education (ASE).
