Participate in the NANOYOU picture contest!

Take part in the NANOYOU picture contest: “My intelligent environment”! Help us portrait how nanotechnologies are becoming part of our lives. Take pictures of the NT applications you discover in your environment and upload them to the picture gallery.

A jury composed of designers, architects, engineers and scientists will select the best three pictures and their commentaries which will get a prize of 500 €, 250 € and 150 € respectively. The winning photographers will also be invited to NANOYOU's public debate at the Cité des Sciences et de l’ Industrie in Paris on 8 April, 2010, to present and comment on their images and exchange opinions with the public.

In addition, the first 30 participants will be invited to an exclusive visit to a research laboratory in micro and nanotechnologies!

Some of the participating pictures and their commentaries will also be integrated in the “DIY futures” exhibition that NANOYOU is preparing and which will be presented at CCSTI La Casemate in Grenoble in October 2010.

Whether they are realistic or staged photos, original or edited, you have until July 1st, 2010, 12:00 noon to publish your photos and commentaries on this website. To be able to start publishing, register here and create your user account.
