Top ranking for KlasCement educational site
 KlasCement, the Flemish educational web portal, is one of the finalists in the Startup 2.0 competition for European social networking sites. KlasCement provides teachers with an online platform for cooperating and exchanging learning objects with each other through networking tools.
Currently KlasCement has more than 60,000 members and over 17,000 learning objects. KlasCement is a starting point for many teachers in Flanders and the Netherlands, but some material is also available in English and topics range from sport and culture to science and technology.
The five finalists of the Startup 2.0 competition were selected by an international jury and internet users. The finalists presented their projects in an event organised in Bilbao, Spain, on 14 May 2010, where the final winner were selected.
