EMBO Award for Communication in the Life Sciences Call for entries
EMBO is accepting entries for its sixth Award for Communication in the Life Sciences. Presented annually to a life scientist in Europe, the award highlights the exceptional efforts made by many scientists to combine science communication activities with a full-time research career.
EMBO would like to invite interested scientists to apply for the award or to inform other potential candidates. The conditions of entry and application form are available at: http://www.embo.org/awards/entries.html. The deadline for applications is 30 June 2007.
The prize consists of a personal award of 5,000 Euro and a handcrafted medal. EMBO also nominates winners for the European Commission's Descartes Prize for Science Communication.
