Digital Contents at School
You can now learn Italian, maths and other school subjects in digital lessons! A pilot project "Cipe Scuola" from the Italian Ministry of Education and the Italian Ministry for Innovation and
Technologies is starting in September, addressed to the high schools of the following Italian regions: Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardegna e Sicilia.
The project aims to introduce the use of new technologies as learning tools and to promote the study of some school subjects.
To take part to the project the schools should fill in a form by October 15 2005.
The digital lessons will be available as learning objects in a national virtual library. Students and teachers (who will receive specific support) could access the virtual library and use the learning objects for their courses. To take part to the initiative the schools should meet the following pre-requirements: - broadband connection (ADSL or 640 kbps at least); - cabled classroom or multimedia labs with internet connection - projectors; - library and/or professors room equipped with PC and internet connection.
