Xoopscuola: Open Source software to design dynamic websites

Xoopscuola is an open source product for easily creating dynamic websites. You can manage on the web many school services and share information between students, teachers and parents.

You can download the product for free, after registration, from the project website (www.xoopscuola.it).
The product is featured in the Italian language.

What is Xoopscuola for?
It is a Content Management System - CMS, written in php.
A CMS is a system used to organize and facilitate collaborative creation of documents and other content. A CMS is frequently a web application used for managing websites and web content.
The Xoopscuola CMS allows you to create an interactive portal for your educational and communication needs.
You can define different users profiles:
- administrator
- teacher
- student
- secretary
- manager
- guest.
Each of these profiles has specific rights to create content, read news and articles, join the forum, manage administration procedure and so on.

Technical requirements
You can install Xoopscuola on every web server which runs .php.
It works both on local networks and the internet
