Lesson plans for primary teachers
Do you need some ideas for your lessons? The British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (Becta) offers weekly activities to download for free so that you can prepare new and exciting lessons using ICT.
The activities presented cover a variety of subjects: from English and literacy to maths and science. You can also subscribe to their newsletter and receive their lesson plans in your mailbox.
Some examples: Science lesson plans Seasonal Changes Children use a web site as a stimulus for a sensory trail around the school observing seasonal changes. Counting This activity is about counting on and back and knowing the number names. It uses a program called Counter available on the Standards site http://www.standards.dfee.gov.uk/numeracy/publications/ or other software with similar functionality.
