Join the STELLA final conference
Science teachers, educators, researchers and school heads are invited to take part in the STELLA (www.stella-science.eu) final conference held in Nancy, France, on 18 November 2009. The conference will also be broadcast on the Internet in English and French.
The Stella final conference focuses on the presentation of interesting science education initiatives in Europe, stimulating discussion, exchange and brainstorming on how to make science education more attractive for young people.
Furthermore, the final outcomes of the STELLA project will be presented, such as the STELLA eBook "Science Education in European Schools - Selected Practices from the STELLA catalogue” (http://www.stella-science.eu/pool_good_practices.php) which includes a number of science education projects and initiatives carried out in different European countries.
STELLA project is funded with support from the European Commission within the Lifelong Learning Programme. It aims to improve the science education in Europe by inspiring teachers’ and experts’ communication and exchange of ideas on teaching methods and best practices.
