Science in Film events

The events “Science in Film”, in the summer term 2006, will be organised in Vienna within the EU-project Cinema and Science (CISCI), together with the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology.

More than 2000 visitors are expected at these mega-events where the science, related to the following films and TV-series will be presented and discussed:

Extraterrestrial life: Film “Alien”
Artificial Intelligence: Film “I, Robot”
Nuclear weapons: TV-series “24”
Climate change: “The Day after Tomorrow”
