Join the ITEMS teacher training courses and get resources for your Science classes
 ITEMS (Improving Teacher Education in Maths and Science) is organising in May 2010 two online training courses for teachers, on astronomy and on elementary functions and graphs. Participants can re-use the ready-made courses in their own teaching.
The “Earth in the Universe – Teaching Astronomy online” and “Introduction to Graphs” courses will present digital teaching and learning materials on these subjects, discuss the materials and the didactical and technical approaches behind them, and thus encourage the participants to use online materials in their teaching.
The 20-hour courses are open to science and maths teachers and teacher trainers across Europe. The courses will be organised online using Moodle.
There is only a limited number of places for the training, so register now for one or both of the courses!
