Join the “Europe’s Future Nobel Prize Winners” session in the European Parliament!

To raise students’ interest in science and technology the first European Innovation Summit on 13 October 2009 will start with a session entitled “Europe’s Future Nobel Prize Winners”. About 750 students aged 12-21 from EU Member States are invited to the session in the European Parliament building.

During the session students will be shown the career prospects in science and technology by introducing them to role models. The role models will come from various fields in science and technology careers, and will be represented by young students, young entrepreneurs and even a Nobel Prize Winner.

The President of the European Commission Jose Barroso, as well as the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek will show the possibilities that European Union supported programmes offer for successful Science & Technology careers.

Via EuroparlTV (www.europarltv.europa.eu/) the session will be streamed and broadcast to schools throughout Europe. You and your students can be part of the session, watch it live via EuroparlTV stream or download the session afterwards!

The European Innovation Summit is organized by Knowledge4Innovation (K4I) (www.knowledge4innovation.eu).
