Euroscience Open Forum 2006

Euroscience Open Forum - ESOF2006 is the second pan-European General Science Meeting and it will be in Munich at the Deutschen Museum, from July 15 to 19 2006.

ESOF2006 will present an interdisciplinary programme based on seven science themes, from the natural sciences to the social sciences and the humanities: Dealing with Disasters, The Workings of Life, Combining Cultures, The Fabric of Science, Science Policy, Particles and Planets, Earth and Environment.
Participants can select from over 70 seminars, symposia and workshops.
Registration is possible online on the official ESOF2006 website as well as on site during the conference.

ESOF2006 for the youth
ESOF2006 especially reaches out to young scientists, young journalists and students through an extensive Career Programme offering educational workshops and seminars on career development, as well as a fresh look at the current job market situation and the alternatives available. Furthermore, through the ESOF2006 Exhibition and the numerous networking and social events, young participants have the opportunity to meet representatives from academia and industry.
