Autumn weekend of Physics

As part of the World Year of Physics the Association for the teaching of Physic of Padua (Associazione per l’Insegnamento della Fisica – sezione di Padova) is organizing conferences and seminars in October and November 2005, during the weekends.

The aim of the initiative is to promote the awareness of physics and to underline the importance of this theme for education and research.
Each weekend programme has:
- a conference in an high school on Saturday morning;
- a public conference for a general audience on Saturday evening;
- guided visits during the weekend to some important scientific place in Padua.

The next event “Physics and perception: you believe what you see” will be on October 1, 2005 in Padua.
