Take part in the AquaRing Workshop: Digital documents on the aquatic world

Take a deep breath and plunge in the great contents provided by some of the most important European aquaria, museums and scientific institutions! On 26 March 2009, on the occasion of launching the new AquaRing portal (www.aquaringweb.eu), the AquaRing Final Workshop: Digital documents on the aquatic world is organised in Acquario di Genova, Italy.

The focus of this roundtable event is to discuss the new portal’s utility and functionality and how to communicate the aquatic topics to larger public using digital images, videos, documents and other material. Participation is free of charge.

The AquaRing portal is a new, innovative portal opening up access to an ocean of digital documents about the aquatic world. The portal will breathe new life into archives of digital documents and collections from aquaria, zoos, and natural history and science museums from across Europe.
