Development Youth Prize
The Development Youth Prize is open to schools in the 25 member states of the European Union and is addressed to pupils aged between 16 and 18 (inclusive) at the time of the deadline. The focus for the 2006 competition is Africa and there are three themes for entries: Education, Health and Environment. Pupils can choose one or combine them.
More about the competition All contributions must include two parts: • a short message • an artwork in the form of a photo or a poster or a multimedia presentation. The message should accompany the artwork, e.g. a caption for a photo. It can be written in any of the 20 official EU languages. If the message is not in English, French or German, a translation into one of these languages must also be provided. All entries must be associated with a school or recognised youth organisation.
