Primary Science Teaching Awards 2005

Do you know an excellent science teacher at a primary school? You can nominate him or her for these awards. The AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust/Times Educational Supplement in conjunction with the Association for Science Education (ASE) is promoting several awards open to all Primary Teachers.

The awards want to recognize and highlight primary teachers who are innovative and creative in teaching science, who engage pupils in the excitement of science and contribute to develop science in their school.

The aims of the prize are:

  • raising the profile of primary science
  • recognising talented teachers
  • engaging children in exciting science

Awards will be presented during the ASE Annual Meeting, on January 5-7 2006.

You can make your nomination online, by visiting this site: http://www.ase.org.uk/htm/homepage/notes_news/may_05/psta_nom.php#
