eTTCampus
The eTTCampus project aims to set up, develop and consolidate a European Virtual Campus for teachers and trainers. On the virtual campus, teachers and trainers can directly compare experiences on the pedagogical use of ICT and learn through context-based work.
This virtual agora and learning space will develop teachers and trainers' knowledge, skills and understanding of the pedagogical, critical and responsible use of ICT for learning purposes.
Project aims The aims of the project are to produce a resource base integrated to a collaborative learning platform, a pilot scheme of learning initiatives with more than 500 teachers and trainers, and conclusions and recommendations on the establishment of a European scheme for the certification of competences.

The Finnish National Board of Education is coordinating the project. eTTCampus is a 24 month project and it started in January 2005. It is funded by the European Commission under the eLearning Action.
