Stavros Nikou

He has a Physics degree from the Aristotle University in Greece and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Houston -CL. Before becoming a teacher he has worked as software developer and database administrator in a press agency and ERP programmer in Gnomon Informatics S.A.
He is informatics teacher in secondary public schools since 2000. He also teaches programming, databases, internet and multimedia in vocational schools.
His thematic areas of interests are ICT in education, open and distance learning, web technologies.

He is a member of the ACM, the Greek Association of Physicists and the Greek Computer Society. He also holds a degree in Music and enjoys spending some free time in his home studio. He lives with his family in Thessaloniki Greece.
