Marzanna Miąsko
Marzanna Miąsko is a secondary school maths and computer science teacher. She teaches at the Gimnazjum 1 in Zawiercie, Poland. She also works as mathematics and computer science methodical advisor and cooperates with the regional center for improving teachers' skills "RODN WOM" in Katowice, organizing meetings, trainings and conferences. She also contributes in organizing informatics, mathematics and other science competitions for youth in Poland, such as Mathematics' Spring, and Count ecology.
She is co-ordinator of the computer technology activities, supporting polish teachers in implementing interdisciplinary projects, using ICT, such as Castles of Europe and Postcard. She strongly believes in the use of
open source software as an opportunity for improving ICT at school.
