More in detail, it is capable of dealing with graphs of functions of one and two variables, parameter equations, polar equations, implicit functions, cylindrical coordinates, spherical coordinates, tubes, calculation and visualization of first and second derivative, area computation using integrals, upper sums, lower sums and Riemann sums, Taylor expansion (with tangent line as special case), level curves on surfaces… It covers most common used mathematical functions (trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, exponential and logarithmic function, power functions, hyperbolic functions, …). Also 3d-objects (VRML-models as well as DXF-models) can easily be made with VisuMath for integration in a web environment or as import in graphics rendering programs. Examples are provided of common surfaces like quadrics (ellipsoids, hyperboloids, …) a torus, a Gauss surface, several minimal surfaces, a Möbius strip, … VisuMath also has a special part that is dedicated to conics (ellipses, hyperbola and parabola) in which one sees the relationship between the general equation and the reduced equation, including the coordinate transforms that are needed. As can be expected from visualization software, it can handle several coloring schemes, several objects, it has save, open, copy and paste possibilities, export possibilities (wmf, jpg and bmp), …set of three applets about trigonometry. The first one shows the trigonometry of a right triangle, the second one shows how to plot the trigonometric functions and the third one is a test for acquired skills.
