Working with Geonext
Geonext allows to work with several objects: points, lines, circles, arrows,
etc.
In
each object menu, you can use different objects. As an example, in
“point” menu, which include 10 different options, you can
choose a point like a “Slider” point that allows you to
do an animation To do it, you must mark this option in the slider
point object properties menu. Also, you can work with a long list of
utilities (geometric and arithmetic functions, operators, etc) to
work with objects.
When you open the properties menu of a object, you can see differents aspects of a object: size, colour, name, etc. With Geonext it is very easy change it.
There are several options to export. You can save your activities in Geonext format, of course, but you can export your activitie to a html document, graphic format (PNG and SVG) or to a slide show. If you decide do a slide show, an it is a interesting option, previously you must do screenshots for each image of the slide show. You can do it at board menu. Also, in this menu, you can change the size of the screen, the axis, insert an image background, etc.
Examples:
If you want use only the html documents offline, you don’t need geonext installed but you must have the geonext.jar archive in the same folder of the html file.
